Quarterly Launch Strategy

Everyone’s life, and business, are different. The following is an example, but feel free to adapt it to your particular situation!

It does work – you can follow it exactly for consistent business growth, or you can customize it according to your own goals and resources.

Whether you are starting an online business as a side-gig or it’s a full-time enterprise for you, planning ahead, using Pagewheel to increase both productivity and quality, and taking consistent action over time are the keys to success.

For our example, we’re going to plan four major launches per year, starting with the most important sales week of the year – Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM).

With a few exceptions, this is typically the most lucrative sales season for most businesses, so if you only do one big launch a year, this is when you want to do it.

Given that, we are starting our annual plan with planning a launch for BFCM, and then spacing out three more launches evenly throughout the year.

Notice that this naturally avoids the Christmas/New Years holidays, as well as June/July summer season which is typically the least busy time of year.

Which is perfect for most people, because we want to go on vacation too, right?!?

Now, your particular niche may have a different peak season, or your family may have plans that coincide with these times. Feel free to adjust accordingly.

Monthly Tripwire Offers

To grow your business, making more offers needs to become a routine activity because these offers are the engine that drive your business.

Next, for every month that doesn’t have a quarterly product launch, go ahead and schedule a tripwire offer launch.

Using Pagewheel for your product development makes what took weeks into days or even hours for larger offers.

For smaller ‘tripwire’ paid offers and lead magnets, the idea-to-live-offer timeline is compressed to minutes!

Lead Magnets and Email Marketing

Time for Task Blocking

Now that you’ve mapped out what you’re launching this year, it’s time to block out the time for when you’re actually going to do it.

Here’s and example of the week of Black Friday, typically the busiest – and most lucrative – week of the year for most businesses.

Notice that we have each day broken down into product-development and -launch activities, email marketing activities, and social media marketing activities.

The idea is to keep the most important activities prioritized, and to keep your work (and life) balanced. Life can be stressful enough without making it more so when we don’t have to!

First, note family activities. If you’re cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 20 guests, you’ll know you need to ask for help with dinner or with your launch. Set yourself – and your loved ones – up for success.

Second, your launch activities. Ideally your product is done, your emails and social media are created and scheduled, but even so, you still need to be ready and available to answer questions and provide customer support (unless you have a team to do this for you.)

Email Marketing

If you only do one kind of marketing, it should be email marketing.

It’s so important, it’s a designated category on the planner page to remind you that this is a core business-building activity.

Your email list is the single most valuable asset of your business. Social media platforms come and go, algorithms work for you or against you, and they can even go dark or ban you.

Without your email list, you would have no way to reach your current customers or interested leads.

Don’t know what to say or how to say it? Pagewheel Copy Packs helps you create email sequences in minutes. Let us introduce you to the Pagewheel Copy Packs – Email Marketing option to help you nurture, grow and sell to your list:

  • Welcome sequence
  • Subject lines
  • Topic ideas
  • Inspire & educate
  • Call-to-action
  • Email sales funnel
  • Viral hooks & descriptions
  • And more!

Social Media Content Creation

Interestingly, social media isn’t the best place for directly selling (the algorithms can even penalize you for trying!)

BUT it is a great way to build your audience, steer people to your email list, where you nurture your audience and sell to them there.

A good rule of thumb is the 80/20 rule. 80% of your marketing content should inform and entertain, for the purpose of building a relationship between you and the reader, while the other 20% should be for sales.

Pagewheel Copy Packs gives you and endless supply of social media content:

  • Social calendar
  • Conversation starters
  • Meme packs
  • Sales conversation ‘ladders’
  • Tweetable posts
  • Pinterest descriptions
  • Tip & teach Reel outlines
  • Everything you need to effectively market your business on social media!

The more your audience gets to know you, the more they like and trust you. Make an offer that solves a problem for them, and they will trust you enough to open their wallet and buy!

Congratulations! You’ve got a plan and everything you need to execute it!

At this point, those pesky feelings of stress and overwhelm are gone, that energy transformed into excitement and motivation because now you can see that it’s totally doable for you. Yay!

And in 12 months, you’ll have a solid library of offers that you can continue to promote to your audience again and again!

  1. 4 mid-ticket offers.
  2. 8 low-ticket ‘tripwire’ offers.
  3. 20 lead magnets.

Great job – you got this!

Pro Tips

  1. Ask your audience – what do they want next, what do they struggle with, where are they stuck? Use their responses as inspiration for your next offer.
  2. Even negative feedback is gold – use it to improve your products or create a solution as your next product!
